Universal prayer intention for November

We pray that people who suffer from depression or burn-out will find support and a light that opens them up to life.

Please note that face-coverings are no longer mandatory, but remain strongly encouraged by the Government in indoor spaces, especially when moving around. Also, whilst physical-distancing requirements have also been removed, please be aware that some people may wish to have space around them.  Sensitivity towards others is the guiding principle.  The current Risk Assessment is displayed in the porch.

**Please kindly note and observe the following, with regard to Holy Communion (if you are using a face-covering):

·        Please loosen face-covering as you approach the place of distribution (please do not approach the priest with the covering still in place)

·        Receive the Sacred Host onto the hand or tongue and consume immediately

·        Replace face-covering

·        Return to place

*Please note Monday’s Mass is at the earlier time of 5.45pm and Tuesday’s Mass this week is at the earlier time of 8.30am.  Fr Stephen has to attend the Institution of Fr Eddie Carr to the parish of Rishton on Monday and a meeting of the Society of the Holy Cross in Manchester on Tuesday.  Apologies for any inconvenience.
