SEVENTH SUNDAY OF EASTER
Jesus’ words in today’s Gospel express his will for all people to share perfect union with him and one another through the Holy Spirit. As we prepare for the feast of Pentecost next Sunday, let us pray that we may experience this oneness here and now.
It’s a great joy to celebrate today the baptism of Emily Rose Threlfall, who is incorporated with us into the Body of Christ. Welcome to all who are visiting us today to celebrate with Paul and Ruth.

your name on the list in church if you would like to go. Directions can be given for those wishing
to make their own way. The Pilgrimage begins at 12.

before Fr Chris’ priestly ordination on 27th June.
NEWS FROM CAMBRIDGE Fr Anthony Moore, curate here from 1999 – 2003 and now Chaplain of
St Catharine’s College, has just been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by the
University of Leeds, for his thesis on the theme of creation in St John’s Gospel. T
he thesis may well be published as a book in the near future.
AN UNUSUAL REQUEST Karen Jones is involved in a project collecting unwanted bras,
to be sent to women in developing countries. Please hand any to her during the rest of this month.
