EASTER SEQUENCE (to be recited by all today) Christians to the Paschal Victim, offer sacrifice and praise. The sheep are ransomed by the Lamb; and Christ the undefiled, hath sinners to his Father reconciled. Death with life contended: combat strangely ended! Life’s own Champion slain, yet lives to reign. Tell us, Mary: say what thou didst see upon the way. The tomb the living did enclose; I saw Christ’s glory as he rose! The angels there attesting; shroud with grave-clothes resting. Christ, my hope, has risen: he goes before you into Galilee. That Christ is truly risen from the dead we know. Victorious king, thy mercy show!

THIS IS EASTER WEEK so do try and come to the Eucharist whenever you can. Each day, we are presented with an account of an appearance of the Risen Lord, and every day this week is a feast day.

THANK YOU to our readers, servers, intercessors, choir and organist, sacristan, cleaners and those who prepared linen and flowers. We really do appreciate your efforts very much.

***EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT will be from 6.45pm until just before the 7.15pm Mass on Thursdays throughout Eastertide. This should help us to focus on the Easter mystery as the source and origin of the sacramental life of the Church, as well as helping us to prepare for the Mass.
