<p>As the disciples of Jesus today, we are called to be the channels of his peace to those around us.  To be such, we must feed upon Christ in word and sacrament, and in our personal prayer.</p>
<p>A special welcome today to Ellie Elizabeth Woodhouse.  Ellie joins us in the fellowship of the Universal Church, through Holy Baptism.  Welcome, too, to her family and friends.</p>

<p>FORWARD IN FAITH The diocesan AGM is in Thursday 15th July at St George’s, Preston.  Fr Paul Benfield will speak on the July General Synod meeting.  Mass, meeting, and wine and cheese reception, starting at 7.30pm.</p>
<p>ORGAN RECITAL here on Saturday 17th July at 7.30pm, by Ian Pattinson, of Lancaster Priory.  £5.00, children free, including refreshments.  Please decide to come, and bring others.  We have one of the finest pipe organs for miles around and we must do all we can to promote it.  There are some A5 flyers at the back of church.  If you are willing to display one in your car, please take one today.</p>
