In a programme of virtuoso German and Italian baroque music. This music was written with the express intention of showing off the dazzling possibilities of the violin, and there are some amazing things to hear! Louise is well-known in the north-west for her dramatic and expressive playing.

Adrian is the organist of Cartmel Priory. He is a well-known and very charismatic musician and his programme is guaranteed to be wide-ranging and enjoyable.

FORWARD IN FAITH The diocesan AGM is in Thursday 15th July at St George’s, Preston. Fr Paul Benfield will speak on the July General Synod meeting. Mass, meeting, and wine and cheese reception, starting at 7.30pm.

ORGAN RECITAL here on Saturday 17th July at 7.30pm, by Ian Pattinson, of Lancaster Priory. £5.00, children free, including refreshments. Please decide to come, and bring others. We have one of the finest pipe organs for miles around and we must do all we can to promote it. There are some A5 flyers at the back of church.
