7pm Mass with Address

Tueday of Holy Week

Wednesday of Holy Week

9.15am & 7pm Mass with Address

The Paschal Triduum

Holy Thursday

7.30pm Mass of the Last Supper, Procession to the Altar of Repose and Solemn Watch          (Vigil before the Blessed Sacrament till midnight, please come and go as you want)

Good Friday

10.30am Stations of the Cross for children and their families                                                         (followed by coffee, juice and hot cross buns)

3pm The Solemn Liturgy including Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion

Easter Eve (Saturday)

8.30pm The Easter Vigil with the ceremonies of the New Easter Fire and Blessing of the Paschal Candle, Renewal of Baptismal Promises and the First Mass of Easter

Easter Sunday- The Feast of the Resurrection

8am Mass

10am Solemn Mass

The usual daily mass times resume for the Easter Octave

 

 

LENTEN DAY OF DEVOTION Saturday 24th March. 

 

Mass at 9.15am, devotional address, silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, Stations of the Cross.

Children’s activities.  Bring a packed lunch.  Opportunity for confession.

Finish by 2pm.  All welcome.

 

This is Lent!

During this holy season of Lent, as well as the regular daily masses and offices, there are a number of other opportunities for worship and reflection to help us prepare well for the celebration of our Lord’s Passion and Resurrection,

Stations of the Cross- every Monday at 7.30pm, following the Mass at 7pm

Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary- On the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm (replaces stations)

Confessions- Saturdays at 5.15pm as well as other advertised times (see weekly bulletin for details)

Lenten Quiet Day- planned for the 24th March beginning with Mass at 9.15 and including a range of talks and opportunities for prayer, concluding about 2pm. Details to follow.

 

THURSDAY 2nd February

Blessing and Procession of Candles and Sung Mass at 7.30pm. 

This feast celebrates that Christ is for all the peoples of the world.  Our carrying of lighted candles symbolises the light of Christ illuminating the Jewish Temple and shining forth for all people on earth.
