THE HOLY FAMILY
The Holy Family provides a model for all who fear the Lord and walk in his ways. We are called, like Mary and Joseph, to love Jesus and present him to a needy world.
• Toilets are to the left out of the main door.
• Please let young children explore.
• Collection during the second hymn.

CHRISTMAS CRIB Do please remember that the Crib is not a Christmas decoration, but a place for devotion and prayer; and please help us to maintain a reverent atmosphere at all times around it. Why not call in at a quiet moment and spend some time?
CHRISTMAS OCTAVE Every day this week has the rank of a Feast, so that we can celebrate Christmas fittingly. Do try to come to be with us at the altar during this very special time.
*SATURDAY is New Year’s Day and the Feast of Mary’s motherhood. Many Christians like to come to the Eucharist on this day to commend the new year to God’s providence. Mass is at the very civilised time of 10.30am, preceded by Morning Prayer at 10.10am.
NEXT SUNDAY FEAST OF EPIPHANY
8.00 & 10.00am as usual. This feast celebrates the revelation of Christ to all the peoples of the earth, a truth which underpins the entire mission of the Church.
THANK YOU to all who helped get us ready for Christmas, with music, flowers, linen, cleaning, reading, leading intercessions, preparing rotas etc. etc. Your efforts are always very much appreciated.
THANK YOU from Fr Chris and Fr Stephen for all the cards and presents they have received.
READERS Please collect your readings from the sacristy. Thank you.
2011 FLOWER LIST is in the porch. If you would like to pay for flowers on any particular Sunday, please write your name in the corresponding space and, when the time comes to pay for the flowers, please use a GIFT AID envelope, marking it ‘flowers’. Thank you.
SCHOOL GOVERNING BODY We have yet another foundation governor vacancy. Please speak to Fr Stephen if you would like to know more.
REMEMBER…Christmas lasts until 9th January this time. Let us all resolve to celebrate the whole season with devotion and commitment, and as an act of witness to a secularised society.
Please take this bulletin home with you.
