FROM NORA WESTERN May I say a very big thank you to everyone who helped to make my 90th birthday such a happy occasion and for all the cards, presents and flowers which I received.  Thank you all very much.
NEW DOORS We are very grateful for the generosity of one of our number who has kindly paid for the new internal doors.  They have transformed the entrance to the church.
SOCIETY OF ST WILFRID AND ST HILDA Thank you to all who have signed up to this so quickly and in such good numbers.  This Society is not so much about opposing women bishops (since that is going to happen at some point anyway) but about maintaining the Church of England’s comprehensiveness by continuing to embrace all faithful Anglicans rather than seeking to drive people out through sheer intransigence. This means that any fair-minded person should sign up.  Rather than send the forms back to SSWSH directly, you can hand them to Fr Chris or to Fr Stephen and we will gladly send them back as a batch.
LADYEWELL PILGRIMAGE 2011 Saturday 4th June.  Please let Fr Chris know if you’d like to go (it starts at midday).

SCHOOL FOUNDATION GOVERNOR Is there anyone out there who would like to learn more about this vacancy?  Fr Stephen is not exactly disappearing under a stampede of potential governors, so please ask yourself if you could do this for us.
MORE SIDESPERSONS NEEDED!  If you would consider helping us with this important ministry of hospitality, please speak to either of the churchwardens.  Thank you.
WANTED – A GENTS’ BIKE of any kind, but needs to be roadworthy.  If you have one you could give away or would sell for a small sum, please let Fr Stephen know – he knows someone who could use it.
ADVANCE NOTICE: ASCENSION DAY is on Thursday 2nd June.  Masses at 12 noon and 7.30pm (Sung).  This is a day on which we should all be present, so please note the date now.
Do stay for coffee after the 10.00am Mass.
Please take this bulletin home with you.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT will be from 6.45pm until just before the 7.15pm Mass on Thursdays during Eastertide.  This should help us to focus on the Easter mystery as the source and origin of the sacramental life of the Church.  Do come – it will be an excellent preparation for the Mass.
