Palm Crosses Thank you to all who have returned these. Please do not return any after tomorrow (save them for next year), because the ash for Ash Wednesday is to be prepared on Tuesday morning.

Funeral Service for Audrey Askew takes place at Lancaster & Morecambe Crematorium at 1.00pm on Tuesday.

Shrove Tuesday Confessions 6 – 6.30pm.  This day gets its name from the verb ‘to shrive’, meaning to be forgiven. It’s a good way of preparing for Lent.

*Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent.  Do make sure you begin the great penitential season appropriately, by coming to the altar and receiving the ashes, either at 9.15am or 7.30pm.

Adoration Thursday 6.45 – 7.10pm.

Lent Course Fr Stephen is proposing to running a course of four sessions on Sunday evenings in Lent.  Several have signed up already, and there is room for more.  The last two such courses have been well supported and fruitful.  This time, we shall be looking at different ways of praying. Please sign up on the list.

Lent Extra is on sale today at £2.00. Please place money in the wall safe marked ‘Sanctuary Fund Tracts’.
